Breana George is the Center Manager for the Center for Interdisciplinary Critical Inquiry. She has almost 20 years of experience supporting interdisciplinary collaborations for academic and research organizations in the humanities and social sciences in the University of California system and nonprofit sector. From 2017 to 2024 she served as the project manager for multi-year Mellon grants to the International Consortium of Critical Theory Programs and as the managing editor of Critical Times: Interventions in Global Critical Theory housed in CICI. Breana received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Latin American and Latino Studies and in Feminist Studies from UC Santa Cruz and a Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy degree from New York University’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
