In Plain Site, a photography festival, features collections from international and local photographers whose work illuminates pathways to a more climate positive future. Mounted on and around the shipping containers of the Radium Runway outdoor event space, the exhibit will be open to the public from May 9th through June 1. The opening weekend celebrations will draw photography lovers, climate warriors and visual art enthusiasts with a host of activities for all ages; from photo walks to artist talks and hands-on workshops and crafts.
Uniquely situated on the Alameda Point shoreline, Radium Runway is an ideal setting for conversations about sea-level rise and the urgency of climate change mitigation. In Plain Site is an opportunity for visual storytellers to share their call to action. The exhibit also celebrates the groundbreaking work of local climate scientists & engineers whose ingenuity and passion provide hope for a greener future.
