The LMU-UCB Research in the Humanities exchange program with Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich facilitates academic exchange of faculty members, graduate students, and postdocs through visiting appointments, conferences, and workshops. The program, which is coordinated at UC Berkeley by the Center for Interdisciplinary Critical Inquiry, supports innovative international collaborations between UC Berkeley and LMU in the Arts and Humanities.

LMU offers visiting professorships to tenured and tenure-track UC Berkeley faculty in the humanities and humanistic social sciences.
Research Mobility for Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs Doctoral Candidates and Postdocs at LMU
Doctoral candidates and postdoctoral fellows at UC Berkeley can apply for a research stay of up to three months at LMU.
LMU and UC Berkeley researchers are invited to submit joint proposals for conferences and workshops to be held at either institution.
